Caracol Internacional: We’re very satisfied with the growth of the network within the US Hispanic

PRODU spoke with Alejandro Bernal, New Channels Manager of Caracol Televisión Internacional about the performance of the network within the US Hispanic market. “Our growth has been really satisfying. In DTH, we maintain a valid exclusivity and in cable, we’re with the principal operators, driving our distribution, which has reached about 2.5 million subscribers” he expressed. Bernal indicated that the company’s winnings from advertising sales are each time more relevant for the channel. “This is a product, not only from the growth of our distribution, but also the content we deliver is well received by the Hispanic population in general, who knows the Caracol brand has high-quality products” Bernal emphasized. Discussing future products, the executive indicated continuing work with operators to maximize the network’s platforms and possibilities of video on-demand. “We have innovative new projects that we hope to announce before the end of October”.
